Elastic Bamboo options for tagging ec2 instances

EC2 allows up to 10 custom "tags" (key/value pairs) to be associated to each instance; these tags can then be used with the custom billing options to allow you to more easily keep track of which project/team(s) a given EC2 instance should be billed to. Is there any way to tell Bamboo OnDemand which tags I'd like applied for Bamboo instances? Ideally, each plan could have its own settings that would get passed on to the Bamboo image.

You can tag your instance using instance setup script. If you want to have that per plan, you'd have to add a script task into your plans.

Am I correct that this feature did not exist in Bamboo 3.4.3?

Right, it does not exist there - you need to upgrade.
