Does the repository polling have an option to watch a subdirectory?

Brent Cerrato February 10, 2013

I'm attempting to set up Bamboo to do CI on an existing maven project. The project is massive with 50 sub projects, each with their own pom all in one git repository. I've started creating plans via the import a pom.xml, which seems to sort of work, but I then have to go and indicate a new working directory for the maven task so that just the single project gets built.

It looks like the option to poll for changes, though will attempt to build these subprojects if anything changes anywhere in the git repo.

Is there some automagic happening that I can't see? Or is there a way to tell the repo poll to only be interested in a subdirectory of the repo? Do I have to switch to the repo notifying bamboo and write some code to match the subdirectories to bamboo plans?

You could go into advanced repository options and select "Include only changes that match". Alternatively, you could use repository hooks.
