Disconecting JIRA as Bamboo's user repository

Joseph Murphy June 28, 2017

I'm currently using JIRA Server to authenticate users in Bamboo. I would like to now disconect JIRA as my user repository and use Bamboo's internal user repository.

If I disconnect JIRA as per the following instructions, will I need to manually create my usrs and groups and associate them with all my Bamboo projects, etc?

Hi Joseph,

That is correct.  Since the users will exist in JIRA, if you remote JIRA from the equation the users and groups will follow JIRA.

Cheers,

Branden

No problem Joseph! I'm happy I was able to help albeit a bit late :/
