Disabled manual tasks in Bamboo

John Bowker October 9, 2012

Is it expected behaviour for a disabled manual task to affect following stages in a plan? A manual job was added to a plan but was disabled as we didn't need to use it yet but this caused the release portion of the plan to not execute and bamboo reported the build as successful.

Is this a bug?

Just to confirm, both "Cleanup" and "Commit to Release" are disabled?

John Bowker October 10, 2012

No, both of those tasks are enabled. The disabled manual task is between "Sanity Check" and "Cleanup".

It should execute them just fine :( Could you contact support and provide your bamboo server log for debugging?

I'll contact support.
