Deploying to a server on local network with an Esatic Instance

We have:

  • Bamboo Ondemand
  • EC2
  • A local development server

Is the only way to deploy to our local development server to create a VPN connection on the Amazon Instance? How does one go about doing this? AWS and Bamboo are new to me, so please keep than in mind.

While you can't hook up the Bamboo Server to your VPN, you can hook up your agents. The feature you're looking for is called VPC, have a look at AWS documentation of that. The setup from Bamboo side is very simple nowadays, you just choose the subnet in Image Configuration.

Set up the VPC, run a few tries manually from your dev server and you'll be all set
