Default user when build fails

Mark Wolff March 18, 2014

When a project of mine fails, the responsible party is always the former manager of the group. He isn't even in the group anymore and certainly isn't checking in any code. I am trying to figure out where this default is set. In my environment, I am a plan administrator, but am not a server administrator, so there are panels I have never seen. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

The "Responsibility" is based on

  • Last Committers
  • Manual Assignment (ad-hoc)
  • System Defaults

The last one seems to be your issue, but If _you_ are committing to the repo, your name should override.

Anyway you can have a server admin check this setting from the admin area:

Add-Ons > Build Responsibilities

And clear the only value that can be set there.
