I'm trying to set up Bamboo and want to have it run instances based in the AWS Sydney region (which is where our application environment is based).
I have a custom AMI prepared in Sydney, but when I try to add it via Bamboo instance configuration and error is returned saying that it cannot be found.
The Bamboo JIRA ticket BAM-9515 suggests that this should not be a problem.
Currently I am only able to run Bamboo OnDemand in US-East. Please help to shed some light on the issue.
Thanks,
Jonathan
Found that the region could be configured back in the Bamboo Elastic Configuration page. I thought this was already set to Sydney as that's what I selected during set up, but when I went back to this page I saw it to be set to US East.
A clearer or more detailed error message here would be appreciated, but otherwise it works as expected.
