Can you give permission to a user for a Project Group in Bamboo?

Deleted user November 3, 2016

We have multiple Project Groups set up in Bamboo for our Build Plans, and I've noticed there's no straight forward/easy way to give a user or group administrative permission for the Project Group. This is only concerning the Project Groups that house the Build Plans.

Any help would be much appreciated!

Cheers,

Josh

Hello Josh Grant,

there's no straight forward/easy way

Could you please elaborate on what you are looking for?

You can grant permissions on Plan level (Configuring a plan's permissions) under "Plan configuration >> Permissions" tab, adding users and/or groups.

Please, refer to Managing permissions for more details.

Kind regards,

I have several Project groups with "lots" of build plans in each one.  Instead of adding a new user to one plan at a time (in some cases over 30+ plans), can we just select a project group and add the user to all build plans in that project?

@Josh Grant at the moment managing permissions on the Project level is not possible. Please vote on https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/BAM-2677
