Can Bamboo create new branches?

Is it possible to make bamboo create new branches?

We are currently creating a new build and deploying this build to our server using bamboo everytime anything is pushed into master. Now the question is whether it is possible to create a new branch with an updated version number after this deploy is finished.

Imagine you finished version 1.0.0 of your software and want to start working on 1.1.0, can bamboo create a new branch for this version?

Hi Florian,

Plan branches can be created and deleted automatically based on the updates in the primary source repository. Automatic branch management is available for Git, Mercurial, and Subversion. For other repository types, you can use
manual branching.

Branden
