I am trying to define a working directory, in a Bamboo task, outside the existing workspace. But it keeps crashing out with a java error.

Is this a bug?

Caused by: java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: The working directory must exist before executing the process

Yes, you're right the agent was configured as a user which didn't have rights to that particular directory wink
