Bamboo - unable to change user Email.

Robert Bryan November 20, 2017

Bamboo Version 5.15.3

Logged in under admin, under users, I go to edit user. The Email field is blank and I am unable to change it. There is nothing there to allow me to add in an Email address. Just displays a blank Email and nothing else.

The problem is that for some reason the user's Email is not showing up. If he goes to account settings he can add in an Email address but it will disappear. He has done this more than 10 times. He is the only user that I have with a missing Email address.

How can I enable the Email field under user setting that will allow me in add in an Email address.

Thanks,

Robert

Hi Robert,

That's indeed a very strange issue!

I would recommend raising a support ticket for proper investigation.

However, you can update the email address from the backend. The table is "users" and the column is "email". Even though backend changes are not at all encouraged keeping data consistency in mind. But, here only the email address is required to be changed.

But, I will still suggest raising a support ticket for proper investigation.
