Bamboo's working directory on a seperate server

av_darren August 30, 2016

This question is in reference to Atlassian Documentation: Specifying Bamboo's working directory

Is there anyway to have the working directory on a different disk space from where bamboo is locally installed?

I would like to be able to have the working directory on a seperate server from where Bamboo is for recoverability.

Thanks

I think you can find the answer in https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/BAMBOO/Specifying+Bamboo%27s+working+directory

There are more other locations that can be configured in $BAMBOO_HOME/bamboo.cfg.xml:

  • bamboo.artifacts.directory
  • bamboo.project.directory
  • buildWorkingDirectory
  • and more

Yes, mount a driveletter - referencing to an external PC/server/storage - and modify the bamboo.cfg to use that directory / driveletter
