Bamboo on AIX Server

It is possible to install Bamboo on AIX Server ?

I think the issue was because the environment variable JAVA_HOME was not define

First, you have to install IBM JDK on that machine (or find it on your filesystem). Ask your AIX admin to install the appropriate filesets (or if he did, how to set up your PATH).

Yes, i mean Bambo Server on AIX.

When i tried to start Bamboo i got the following on the log:

sh: java: not found.

I assume you're asking about Bamboo Server on AIX, not Bamboo Agent.

While I haven't tried installing it on AIX, if you want to do it, make sure you're using Bamboo 3.4.x, it's more compatible with non-Sun/Oracle JDKs than previous Bamboo versions.

Also note that such configuration would be unsupported, because you'd have to use IBM's JVM. If you face any problems, you can try posting your questions on Answers, maybe we will be able to help you.
