Bamboo installation error

Hai All,

I I am trying to install the bamboo server on my local machine. I have followed all the instructions mentioned in the installation guide. All the setuo went right. But finally when I try to access it through localhost its ows the below error.

Error while trying to initialise Bamboo Container. org.springframework.beans.factory.BeanCreationException: Error creating bean with name 'com.atlassian.bamboo.plugin.dotnet.nant.NantCapabilityDefaultsHelper': Instantiation of bean failed; nested exception is java.lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError: Failed to create temporary file for jnidispatch library: Access is denied

Could anyone please help me on this..

Please check that bamboo system user has permissions to write in the data folder.

Thanks for the reply..I have chnaged the persmissions to the Bamboo folders. But still I got the same error.

It looks like you're installing Bamboo on and unsupported platform.

I have the same problem - I installed Bamboo server in Windows Server 2012 R2, I set one of the users that belong to Administrators group as the Bamboo user. The user has the full control access right to any directories in the system. What else do you think could be the cause of the problem?

Hi Tsuneko,

1. What file are you using to run Bamboo? If running it as a Windows service, please make sure you are using a local admin account: https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/BAMBOO/Running+Bamboo+as+a+Windows+service+as+the+local+user

2. Do you have a compatible version of Java installed and have JAVA_HOME set up correctly? Please check this page for more details: https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/BAMBOO/Supported+platforms

- Please make sure you are using a 64 bit installation package since your OS in 64 bit amd JDK is also the supported 64 bit.

3. Do you experience the same problem if you navigate to your Bamboo installation directory, right click on bambooConsole.bat and select "Run as Administrator"?

Thank you very much on your advice, I got my problem solved!

I wasn't using a local admin account to run Bamboo... I have confirmed that the Bamboo is running fine if I use the local administrator.
