Bamboo groups

Mark Carbonara May 29, 2013

I'm currently using LDAP in bamoo; however when all the users were brought into Bamboo, they were all assinged the default Bamboo-Admin group and there is no way to remove them. Also whenever I create a new Group and assign it to ONE users in Bamboo, that group will automatically get assingned to every single user. Makes no sense to me and this can't be the way version 4.3 is supposed to work.

Hi Mark,

Are you trying to manage LDAP accounts and user groups from Bamboo?

Based on the following document, if you integrate Bamboo with LDAP, you cannot manage LDAP accounts or user groups from Bamboo. This document also includes detailed instructions for this integration and guidelines to map your data and edit your .../{BAMBOO-HOME}/xml-data/configuration/atlassian-user.xml file correctly.

https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/BAMBOO/Integrating+Bamboo+with+LDAP

Hope this helps!

Best,

Sepideh
