Bamboo does recognize issue-keys mentioned in branch name

Hi

Recently I noticed following situation.

I merged several commits of git branch A to git branch B. B is being build by Bamboo. Branch A containes several Merge branch 'bugfix/KEY-1234-some-issue' messages from branches merged back into branch A (master).

When looking at the build summary of Bamboo issue KEY-1234 is not mentioned in the Issues-Tab. It seems issues only get mentioned if they are not in a commit message beeing a merge commit.

But I also want those issues linked to the issues-tab becaus they are new compared to the last build. Anny suggestions how to archive this?

Why bamboo doesn't recognize JIRA issue key if it looks like bugfix/KEY-1234-some-issue ?

if i have this situation

commit1 - message without key

commit2 - message without key

merge Merge branch 'bugfix/KEY-1234-some-issue' 

in this case bamboo doesn't recognize issue. WHY?
