When i run a deploy i want a prompt to ask for a username/password when deploying to a server, must use sftp, cannot use scp. There is no bamboo sftp task(cannot use bamboo scp task). I am using the Ant sftp task instead and calling the ant task, however at this point i need to prompt a password.
I have seen run customised for the run stage(https://answers.atlassian.com/questions/12316/is-it-possible-to-prompt-the-user-for-input-with-bamboo) is there a way to do this at the deploy stage or another way to get an input?
Or any way to do sftp with bamboo?
i'd like for bamboo to prompt for an SSH key password and NOT save it in the database.
It looks like this isn't possible.
There is a JIRA ticket to implement this that hasn't even been triaged yet.
