Bamboo - build commits not visible after previous build results deleted

Hi,

We have Bamboo linked to Stash through an application link.

If I run manual build after committing to repo, I see the commit in the "Commits" tab of build result which is expected.

Now, if I delete the build result and re-run the plan again - it doesn't show any commits ...

Could someone explain when the commits are displayed and when not?

Somewhere it was mentioned that Bamboo displays only the diffs commits since last build and it works fine

but why it doesn't display anything if I delete the previous builds?

It's not clear the criteria used for displaying build commits ...

And the same thing , if build fails, next build doesn't show commits, and release from this build too.
