Bamboo as a service uses a different configuration

Grant Huddlestone September 13, 2017

Hi,

I recently configured my Bamboo instance to run as a Windows service.

Subsequently all Git checkouts contained Windows line-endings (CRLF), which was undesirable.

When reverting to starting Bamboo with the startup.bat files line-endings were once again the desired Linux line-endings (LF).

It therefore appears as though Bamboo as a service uses a different config. How do I go about making the service instance use the manual startup config?

Thanks

If you are starting Bamboo as a Windows service, setting in setenv.bat will not work.

You have to set the system properties either via the command line or in the Windows registry. This page explains just that -  Configuring your system properties.

Hope that helps.
