Bamboo OnDemand Command Task no executables

Leif Nelson September 13, 2014

I created a bamboo ondemand plan, added a command task and there are no choices available to me in the executables drop-down menu.  How do I fix this?  Do I need to start an elastic instance before creating a plan?

Hi, also using onDemand and have an empty drop down for executables and no 'agents' option in left hand menu as described in documentation.

Anyone got this working?

I have the same problem. Additionally I do not see "agents" in the left menu.

I am using Elastic agent which provides no add or edit capabilities option.

There's a Bamboo documentation available online and I have found 2 chapters that seem to match your question:

https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/BAMBOO/Defining+a+new+executable+capability

https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/BAMBOO/Custom+command+executable

Also Script Task allows you to execute snippets of code without previously defining commands

Be aware that Bamboo provides multiple specialised tasks and command task should only be used for those tools which we don't natively support yet.

Can you describe what are you trying to run?
