Bamboo Local same as on Demand

Is it possible to set up a local isntance of Bamboo the same way as OnDemand, so it's integrated into Jira OnDemand etc,

This is to run the XCode plugin because OnDemand doesn't support remote agents.

It seems that it's not possible to connect to local bamboo installations due to its restricted functions policy.
