Okay since upgrading to Bamboo 5.1.1 there is a logs directory in <bamboo-home>\xml-data\build-dir\logs on the remote agents. I have 10 remote agents and have sufficient space to handle the plans assigned to the different clusters that I have them divided up in to. The logs directory mentioned above is filling up my drive space and I have searched everywhere I can think of to see where this is set with no luck. The remote agent wrapper.conf is set to its defaults. I have checked the tomcat settings on the server and the log settings in the admin console. I have searched all night through config files on the server and remote agents. The other issue is the log never finishes writing as I found out when trying to delete them. Somehow the process gets killed when the next build kicks off but when I compared the build log on the remote agent to the one on the Bamboo server it died right before the it wrote all the stuff you typically see at the bottom of the log file. So I went out to get an example on the remote agent and opened a file that is hung up in the JAVA Platform SE binary and if I hit F5 and it would start writing from memory. I wasn't able to save it there but I did somewhere else and attached. Note the time stamps at end of file. The ones on 10/26 at 4:45 AM were from the refreshing of the log while open. This started on 9/19/2013 the day after my upgrade and they were piling up, with log files from some projects exceeding 10MB and continuos integration on lots of parrellel development and 8-10 major projects this is killing me..help? I have also opened a support request but thought someone would see this and tell me how to fix...
It's a bug. It will most likely be fixed in 5.2.1 .
Yes Atlassian provided me a fix. They did this very quickly for me.
