New Bamboo user, having difficulty connecting to SQL Express

I am attempting to set up Bamboo however, I am stuck on Configure how Bamboo will connect to your database. The system keeps sending me back to the set-up page and doesn't show any errors. My settings are in the picture below.  The log error is below.  I am using Microsoft SQL Express and know nothing about databases.

MS SQL Express is not supported. If you need free DBMS, we recommend PostgreSQL: https://www.postgresql.org/download/windows/
