Why is there roque activity here?

@Scott Griedercan you explain the weird roque activity here that happened today? I noticed there are a few banned users after that happened.

Are these people hacking in via free trial accounts and are phishing around? I've not been directly involved before but seem to be seeing more posts that hit my email are getting banned right after they come through.
