Can Automation for Jira trigger across Linked Jira Instances?

We are setting up a federated Jira instance with two data server versions of Jira. We are curious if we can set up an Automation for Jira rule to trigger an update on an issue in one Jira project based on an edit to an issue in a project on the other instance of Jira if the issues are linked.

Hi @Malka Jackson [Isos Technology]

You can use Automation to make a web request along with webhooks to integrate those instances.

Yeah, it'd be cool if this was built-into Automation. But no: AUT-176 - Add support for remote issue links
