In a virtual event, what can we do to increase the engagements?

• Should w have more case studies?
• Should we get the audience to answer questions?
• Should we run a demo?

Here are few questions that can answer what to choose.

• Is it a theory or practical?
  • Go for demo it is practical knowledge, go for discussion if it is theory
• Is it a lecture or a knowledge/experience sharing session?
  • Go for case studies if it is a lecture
  • If it is an experience or knowledge session, go for discussion or chat sessions
• Is it tailored to the audience?
  • Few questions at the start of the session will help you understand who the audience is to make sure you are not providing too advance or too novice information.

But in the end, go with the flow, look for responses or expressions, it will tell you if you need to change the mode. So, keep some content/references in place that can be expanded or skipped over as required.

But also we should use visual accents and interactions with the audience to maintain interest at all times.
