Hello,

We are migrating some projects from Jira Server 7.13.11 to Jira Cloud using the migration tool. The issue is the project shows an error for two accounts that has the same email address but are located on LDAP and Jira local users directory.

We resolved this by removing the LDAP account but during the migration, it still pulls up the same error. Once you check this, only one email account is showing up.

Is there any way to "refresh" or resolve this since it's fixed but the migration tool is still showing the same problem? Or is this related to tickets in the project created by the users (who switched from LDAP to Jira local directory) and not possible to resolve?

Thank you!

We are having this issue as well with one user.  The user is synced through our AD connection and no longer has a Jira Internal Directory user, but the Jira Migration Assistant says the user has duplicate emails.

I suspect there is a duplicate email address somewhere in the Jira database, but we cannot seem to find it.

Were you able to find your issue and successfully migrate to Cloud?

Hello @robert_freiberger

Were you able to resolve this issue? I am curious as to what data is being referenced in Jira when you removed the user from the external directory?

Have you checked this link to determine your migration configuration Migrate users and groups with Jira Cloud Migration Assistant | Atlassian Support ?
