Hi Team,
I want to migrate Jira server 6.2 to the Jira cloud. Is there is any direct way to migrate from Jira server 6.2 to Jira cloud, and any challenge in using
-The Jira Cloud Migration Assistant
-Jira Cloud site import
With Jira server 6.2.
Neither of those will work. Your version of Jira is way too old for the importers.
If you want to use the direct import, you will need to upgrade to at least 8.0 and I'd strongly recommend 8.13 over 8.0.
The Cloud migration assistant only works with Jira 7.6 and above, and again, I'd strongly recommend going to a much higher version (you're going to have to upgrade to 7.0, then 7.6, but you might as well go from 7.0 to 7.13, it's no more difficult than 7.0 to 7.6)
Hi @Mahendra singh
I agree with @Nic Brough -Adaptavist- inputs, Its recommended to go to a supported version on Jira server before migrating to the cloud.
