issueFunction in linkedIssuesOf does not work without link type argument

Florian Zink July 21, 2014

Hi guys,

according to the documentation https://jamieechlin.atlassian.net/wiki/display/GRV/Scripted+JQL+Functions#ScriptedJQLFunctions-linkedIssuesOf%28Subquery,[linkname]%29

It is possible to use the function without adding the link type:

issueFunction in linkedIssuesOf("resolution = unresolved")
However, when I try this in my JIRA instances, I receive the error:
Function 'linkedIssuesOf' expected '2' arguments but received '1'.
I tried it with ScriptRunner version 2.1.17 and 2.1.15
Does anyone know in which version this function got updated?
Cheers
Florian

It's from 3.0 only. I decided not to note all the versions in documentation, and just have it relate to the latest version. That's not ideal, but I just think it would get very messy when documenting parameter changes between versions.

Thank you Jamie.

Hi Jamie - Happens in 2.1.17 as well. Question: If we're on Jira 6.2.2 can we upgrade to ScriptRunner 3.x? The marketplace listing indicates it's only for Jira 6.3x.
