JQL to Find Tickets Added to Sprint Yesterday

IT August 26, 2014

I've recently installed ScriptRunner for the sole purpose (at least for now) of tracking our sprint scope change.

This link is most related to what I need, but ideally I'd be able to filter by the exact date something was added to the sprint:

https://jamieechlin.atlassian.net/wiki/display/GRV/Scripted+JQL+Functions#ScriptedJQLFunctions-addedAfterSprintStart(boardname,\[sprintname\])

We'd like to have a filter show us what was added yesterday (and ideally what was removed - but that's another question) so everyone can justify their changes in scope.

Is it possible to track not only if something was added to a sprint, but when?

I'm not sure that information is readily available from JIRA Agile. If the sprint field supported change indexing you could do it with "and sprint changed after -1w", but it does not. Vote for https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRA-39256.

Another way might be to update a custom field on edit with when an issue was added to a sprint, and search on that.

I'll certainly vote on that.

The custom field is a great idea (and one a simple JIRA admin can probably handle with the JIRA Automation plugin).

Thank you!
