When you say you are not able to access - do you mean your user id has permission restrictions to JIRA Media directory ?

This is a simple permission issue with your account in your linux server.

Ask your linux admin to give you the requisite permission.

From front end , you can include attachments in your JIRA Daily backup BUT it is not recommended - it could take a lot of time and could make your JIRA Environment unstable.

Just get your user id permission to JIRA Media directories and run a simple linux copy command.
