Hi @James Jing ,

you should do a backup of your Jira instance, and then import it in your new Jira on AWS.

Let me know if this works,

Hello @Alexis Robert

Thank you for following up!

My biggest problem is the database migration.

How can I migrate my data from local Postgresql database to Amazon RDS MySQL?

Hi @James Jing ,

you just need to do a XML backup in Jira : https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiraserver/backing-up-data-938847673.html

Then, setup a new VM on AWS and copy your existing Jira Home and application directories, and delete the dbconfig.xml file in Jira home.

Start Jira on AWS, and setup the database connection on RDS. Then, choose to import data : https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirakb/importing-data-via-setup-wizard-941589200.html

Let me know if this works,
