I am using Jira service desk to serve internal customers. One of my customers became an agent as well. I turned her account into an agent account, but now there are two. Is there a possibility to merge them, without losing the cases of the customer account?

It's not possible to merge these accounts. You can however create a few JQL's to find
creator = <original account> or reporter= <original account>
And bulk edit these to the new account. Now the user can see all his/her created issues in the portal. Other members of the organization can still see the issues as well.
