Verify Domain without notifying over 1000 accounts


we are in the process to implement Atlassian Cloud to Azure for Jira.

Since we dont want to notify every user because we would like to test things first i want to know how we can verify our domain with sending mass emails.

Somehow Atlassian rememers the synced users from another organisation under we created to test and then removed every conntection to our domain and removed Atlassian access.

It is my understanding that the email does not get sent out until the accounts are claimed. Nothing is done when the domain is verified.

Hello Martin,

Welcome to Atlassian Community!

When a domain is claimed on an Organization, users will receive a notification informing that the administrator manages their Atlassian account and they won't be able to change their email address or full name. 

Currently, it's not possible to disable this notification. There is a feature request suggesting the implementation of such ability:
