Is there a way to unlink an Atlassian account / user from Active Directory after the user/account has been synced/linked? We tried to remove the user from AD group. It deactivated the user/account in Atlassian. I want to unlink the user so I can change the email address for the account. Changing the email address in AD is too big a hassle.
have you tried to delete the account and then add it again in Jira using the correct email address?
In any way, I think when you sync it again with AD it will add a new user with the old email from AD.
