Assets Data Manager Team '24 Presentation Slides?

I watched the Team '24 session: Driving better data quality and decisions with Assets Data Managerbut the presentation didn't show any of slide content. Is there any way to see the content that Kristin and Mike referred to? Was disappointed to not see some of the workflow.

Also was hoping to get at least a target ETA on a release quarter for ADM, but maybe it was discussed in the Q&A session.

Thanks!

Hi @Bill Goetz , I do not have the presentation slides with me and you'll need to contact Mike or Kristin for those but I can assist by providing you with the Data Manager workflow diagrams.

Data Manager collects data using an on-prem client installed on a server within your domain. This client is not an agent or a discovery/scanning tool, but passively connects to your organisations management solutions to bring in data of all types.

After connecting to your tools, Data Manager collects data and applies proprietary logic (or allows you to define your own) to clean your data - removing duplicate objects, disabled objects, or objects not inventoried in each platform and generating a record of Total, Unique and Active (TUA) objects across each data source.

This data gathering, cleansing and merging can be scheduled and done daily with minimal (or no) human intervention. This fully-automatic compliance remediation means better service delivery, and less cost for your team.

The information produced by Data Manager can also be used to power other tools such as Assets in Jira Service Management, allowing your team to rapidly sync their service desk and their systems.

Hi @Bill Goetz, thanks for your post. I'm currently in the process of making the slides available for you and others, and I'm also going to be passing along feedback to the events team about the presentation recording not having the slides in the video. I'll tag you again when the slides are available.

For your question around our target ETA, we are currently working towards a launch date of Q3 2024, and will continue to review and update the public roadmap if anything changes.

Best,

Kate

@Bill Goetz the slides are now available under the Resources tab https://events.atlassian.com/team-digital/v/s-2154613?i=KlSakwvyz3EX_OTOb0OCl3Fp1HYL7ELH

The team and I are also following up to see if we can get another cut of the talk with the screen recording as well. Unfortunately I don't have an ETA on this, but I'll make a new post in this group when it's ready. If you have any questions based on the slides, please let me know!
