Why would the screen popup not record time in Tempo?

We have a screen popup setup to come up when transitioning a ticket from In Progress to QA To Do but the popup is not accepting the time logged and logging in Tempo.  If the developer records time in Tempo before moving the ticket it works fine - but the popup will not go away if they try to log it in the screen popup.  Any ideas what might be wrong?  thank you!

 

Note:  This was working before we added some workflow changes.  No changes were made to the screens and the same screens are associated with the workflows.

Thank you.  I just found out that this was working before we added some workflow changes.
