I have a very large structure. Including the stories makes it run very slow. I want to include the progress for the epic but not have the stories or be able to remove the completed stories and not show 0% progress. Anyone done this?
Hello @Brett Palmer
When it comes to calculating progress, Structure can only consider values of issues that are present in the structure. It is indeed possible to filter them out using a quick transformation like @Matt Parks suggested - in this case, issues are hidden but please note that:
- the aggregated progress for parent issues can change because of it - this will happen if you're using the Progress column;
- this might not improve the performance since hidden sub-issues would still be added to the structure in the first place.
I hope this helps. If you have other questions or you need our assistance with improving the performance of your structures, please reach out to us directly at our support portal.
Best regards,

The closest I was able to do was to create a quick transformation that filters out all non-epics. Select the filter when you want to see the progress of the epics and then deselect it when you want to view the Structure in any other way.
Not particularly elegant, I know, but it can get you what you need in a pinch.
