Hi,
Last weekend I posted an article in the App & Integrations section of this community, however it got removed within hours of posting. Here is the original link to the article
As far as I'm aware the article was following the guidelines as set.
I have not gotten any notification, comment, mail on why it was removed and attempting to get information via the Community Managers mail address I got this from the guidelines post. But I have not been able to get a response on my mail.
Now I have more articles coming but feel blocked in posting them as I'm not sure why the first was removed.
Can someone please connect with me on why the article was removed so I can adapt before continuing to post new articles.
Cheers,
Mark
Thanks @Matthias Gaiser _K15t_
some other community leaders confirmed that your article looks fine to them. I've therefore moved it out of the removed article section into the App Central Group.
That's by the way also the place where your app-focussed articles should go now.
As to the reasoning why it got removed, it looks like some automation flagged it as an AI post and therefore removed it. The guidelines mention:
AI usage for the purpose of formatting, language, spelling, etc. is allowed if utilized as a tool, but the core of your response should be written by you: AI should not be used as a substitute for providing accurate answers and knowledge to our users, and you are responsible for ensuring that any information you provide is accurate. If you post images or text wholly or largely generated by AI, you should also indicate as such in your comments. For more, please refer to Atlassian’s Responsible Tech Principles.
Not sure if this applies to you, but maybe you want to keep this in mind.
Thanks @Matthias Gaiser _K15t_
I was under the impression, by the name of the group, that talking about Apps that provide integrations that those articles should go to the Apps & Integrations section.
Can you highlight the difference between the two groups for me? I don't want to post in the wrong place when my other articles, also focusing on my integrating Jenkins with Jira.
The article by the way was not written by AI. The talented people over at Brighttail helped me out writing the article and also the 2 that are following. The screenshots where created by myself.
Thanks again for your help. Next time I'll be posting here again instead on mailing.
I totally understand your confusion, @Mark Rekveld - Marvelution
The Apps & Integrations collection used to be the place where partners should post their content. But the Community team decided to move to Groups - and therefore the App Central Group has been created. This change will be more communicated throughout the next time.
Thanks @Matthias Gaiser _K15t_ completely understand. Thanks for your help on this.
@Matthias Gaiser _K15t_ It seems my article is removed again following the link to the previously restored article now gets "Nothing to see here..." page again.
Why was the article, that was confirmed to be line by community leaders, now removed again?
I can confirm that it's removed again, but I don't see any reasoning for it.
I'll reach out to some Atlassian to have a look into that.
Any luck yet @Matthias Gaiser _K15t_ finding the cause of the removal?
@Mark Rekveld - Marvelution, unfortunately no news yet. But I've used this occasion to ping them again.
@Matthias Gaiser _K15t_ I just saw that he article is back. Thanks for your help on this again!
Yes, they moved it back, but I've also asked for a deeper investigation/explanation as you did.
Thanks for your continued support on this. Hopefully the community managers will response so we can make it clear for all.
