Tempo - Group by Component not showing for story that have a sub task

Those new to the Atlassian Community have posted less than three times. Give them a warm welcome!
I have created 2 user stories in a sprint and both of them are mapped to a component. One user story has got sub task and effort is logged in the subtask and the other does not have a subtask hence effort is logged in the story. When I group by component in tempo time report, component group by shows only for story that does not have a subtask against grouping by component for both the stories
