Achieve project automation in Jira with triggers, conditions, and actions

The integration of Profields and Automation for Jira is a turning point to automate project-related actions, track projects in a powerful, simple and flexible way, in order to save efforts, and more importantly, time.

Our main mission with Profields is to empower users with solutions that allow them to enhance project tracking, save time and have greater control when working with Jira projects. That's why we have integrated Profields with Automation for Jira at every level which has allowed us to do so: Triggers, Conditions, and Actions.

Create Triggers that reacts to project changes

Project administrators in Jira will be able to automate events based on project property field values (created through Profields) that have changed. Nevertheless, we have also kept in mind two actions that usually go unnoticed in the context of projects: When a project is created and when a project is deleted.

Create conditions based on project properties

The users of Automation for Jira will be able to add a condition to their actions according to a PQL (Profields Query Language). In other words, they will be able to automate tasks according to one or more values associated with one or more of the PMO data (customizable project properties) previously created and stored in Profields.

Create automated actions to update project property values

Automation users will be able to automatically update one or more project property field values (created and stored in Profields) by automating actions in Automation for Jira.

Who needs to integrate Profields with Automation for Jira?

Given Automation for Jira is already a part of Jira, Profields is the only app that should be acquired at the Atlassian Marketplace, which is a must for Jira administrators who want to strengthen their processes, project managers who need to save time, or those interested in automating actions in their projects which are based in property field values created and stored in Profields. for Atlassian Solution Partners aiming to track what happens in the Jira projects they supervise, and for anybody willing to automate actions based on information around Jira projects.
