send notification email on page creation only

Hi there,

I want to notify all the space watchers to receive an email only when space administrator publishes the newly created page. There should be no notification on editing, deleting and commenting.

By turning off comments I can getrid of comment notification, but I want to send notification only when the page is published for the first time, that's it.

I also wants to customize email - body of the email should be content of the page and email's subject will be the page's title.

I am assuming that there's no setting available in the confluence for achieving this. So it would be nice if any one can suggest any Macro for this or some work around.

Hi Raj,

You are correct. I believe that confluence doesn't have this function embedded to watch only pages.

I could find this plugin in marketplace (Enterprise Notifications) which could help since I could spot this functionality:

Optionally watch any new pages that are added to the hierarchy
