Hi All,
Is it possible to use spring jdbc concept in pluging type2 of JIRA5 ?. We are implementing one service by using pluging type2 and in this plugin we have to connect to external databse, so now we are connecting with plain JDBC API, but for better approach we want to use spring JDBC teamplates or declarative concepts instead of plain JDBC API to connect database and perform operations. Is it possible, if yes, kindly provide us some samples or idea on this.

Might give you some clues (I have not seen the code myself).
