There's a great documentation on this subject: https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/BAMBOO/Integrating+Bamboo+with+Apache+HTTP+server
I figured it out. Use port 80 insted of 8085 as 80 is the default port the browser looks for when no port is mentioned in the URL. Aslo edit the wrapper.conf file in the installation directory to customize you URL. for example in wrapper. conf file add "bamboo-Login" to wrapper.app.parameter.4 after forwardslash (/). so now bamboo can be accessed using the URL http://hostname/bamboo-login.
