Will Confluence 5.0 meet WCAG 2.0 Single A or Double A conformance?

Fil Filiposki January 28, 2013

Like many governments worldwide, the Australian Government has a policy mandating "all federal, state and territory websites to conform to the guidelines to meet WCAG 2.0 Single A level within a two-year period (by the end of 2012)." and "all Australian Government websites to implement WCAG 2.0 to meet the middle level of conformance (Double A) over a four-year period".

My question is will Confluence 5.0 meet or exceed WCAG 2.0 Single A or Double A confromance? Otherwise, many Australian Government agencies using Confluence for a government website will have to make the switch to another COTS/bespoke product.

I'd ask this directly of Atlassian or one of their partners. It's not something a community member is likely to do for you.

I'd watch https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONF-14249 as well.
