While actively logged into JIRA, I still have to sign in to Confluence despite having Crowd set up for both JIRA and Confluence

Crowd is set up correctly as far as every eye that has viewed it can tell. If a user is logged into JIRA, and they have appropriate access to Confluence, my understanding is that using Crowd, they should not have to sign in to Confluence. It should be accessible to them based on the credentials passed to Crowd from JIRA.

Has anyone else come across this? Or does anyone know where I need to look to spot the issue?
