Hi. I'm new here, so I appologize in advance if I'm doing anything wrong.
So, what I'm trying to do is create a custom web application (PHP/jquery/html based), hosted on the same web server as my confluence installation. I want the application that I am making to use confluence's existing authentication system and user session data, so that if a user signs into the confluence instance, they are also signed into this custom app. Also, the two systems should use the same credentials etc (SSO).
After doing some web searching, I've run across Seraph, which seems to be what Confluence's authentication system is based upon. Is Seraph what I want to be using?
Other than Seraph, I have not been able to find what I am looking for.
Thank you in advance for any help you can provide me with.

Hey all. I still have not found a solution to this yet. For now, I'm using another database with separete un-linked login credentials in it. So, I am still looking for a solution to this.

I also need a solution for this. Have you progressed further?
