Unable to start the plugin container for plugin 'com.atlassian.upm.plugin-license-storage-plugin'

Andreas von Euw December 3, 2015

I've upgraded our JIRA Server Instance 6.4.5 to JIRA Software 7.0.2. After refreshing the plugins everything is fine. Just one system plugin can't be enabled:

This plugin seems to be a leftover from a previous JIRA version (we did already upgrade this JIRA instance 4 times). This plugin is not needed anymore with JIRA 7.

I've deleted the plugin from the filesystem, (JIRAHOME/plugins/installed-plugins/plugin-license-storage-plugin-2.7.4.jar) and restarted JIRA.
