Unable to log in to server: http://server:8080/rpc/soap-axis/confluenceservice-v1 with user: adminuser.
Cause: (404)/rpc/soap-axis/confluenceservice-v1

Confluence version is 3.4.9. Client is on Same box as Confluence. OS is Solaris.

Actually I also tried using the CLI installed on my local machine which is Windows XP. That is the reason the path in the description is of windows. But the real error is on the Solaris box.

Please help ASAP....

We also have commercial license of confluence , let me know if you need us to create support ticket

What happens if you put that URL into a web browser? Do you get a 404 as well? Are you sure you have the correct base URL and you can reach the server?

When i put same URL in web browser, then its working fine.
