Tag namespaces

I see from the Confluence database schema that tags can have namespaces. We'd like to be able to create a set of tags that are visible only to our internal users.

For example, we'd like to be able to tag pages that need improvements or rewrites, but we don't want customers to see those tags.

Is there an existing function we can use for this, or do I need to create a plugin to create internal-only tags?

Thanks!

Label namespaces are used currently to create private labels, which is how favourite pages are specified, but there is no other functionality to use label namespaces built into Confluence. You would need to create a custom plugin to do this.

Depending on your exact requirements, it would probably be simpler to edit/store the custom tags separate to the content labels but that would need to be investigated.
